What you'll be doing

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and supporting the business in managing contractual risk.

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of legal templates, customer terms and product documentation.

  • Partnering with colleagues across the business, particularly within our product teams, to help bring new ideas and propositions to life while ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are considered from the outset.

  • Working closely with our Procurement team to support contract review processes and help drive efficient contract management practices.

  • Supporting the Group General Counsel on corporate governance and company secretarial matters when required.

  • Advising on customer-related issues, complaints, disputes and regulatory matters, helping the business find practical and customer-focused solutions.

  • Contributing to legal operations initiatives, including process improvement, knowledge management, self-service tools and the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working.

  • Identifying opportunities to simplify legal processes, improve stakeholder experience and demonstrate measurable value from the legal function.

  • Building strong relationships across the organisation and becoming a trusted adviser to colleagues at all levels.

  • Taking ownership of your professional development, continually building your knowledge, skills and expertise.

  • Supporting a positive, safe and inclusive working environment in line with Simplyhealth's values and policies.
