Giving Back is in Our DNA!

At Simplyhealth we support communities across the UK by improving access to healthcare. We do this through our corporate giving and volunteering programmes.

We love rolling up our sleeves and working alongside amazing people, community groups, and charities at a local, regional, and national level to provide volunteering opportunities for our colleagues to make a real difference and every year we donate a minimum of £1 million pounds to charities or charitable causes. We’re so committed to volunteering that we target ourselves on it, and the hours we collectively volunteer form part of our business objectives.

And here’s the best part: every year, we give our colleagues three full working days to get out there and support causes they care about. Whether it's planting trees, mentoring young people, or lending a hand at a local food bank, we’re all about making an impact. And guess what? Many of our team go the extra mile, giving back in their own time too.

The Boaz Project

Boaz is a day centre based in Hampshire, for adults with additional needs to visit, and experience what working life is like. Daily activities include tasks such as cooking, horticulture, animal care and crafts.

Giving Back Together

Every year, we give our colleagues three full working days to get out there and support causes they care about. Whether picking litter, planting trees, mentoring young people, or lending a hand at a local food bank, we’re all about making an impact. And guess what? Our Charity Partners

Let’s Care Together – Supporting those who care the most

Over five million people in England and Wales—more than 9% of the UK population—provide unpaid care to a a relative, friend, or somebody else with a long-term illness, mental health condition or problems related to old age? Caring for others can take a toll, with unpaid carers being twice as likely to experience poor health.

That’s why we’re proud to collaborate with Business in the Community (BITC) to support their wellbeing. Our colleagues volunteer their time to offer online befriending sessions, connect carers with essential resources, and provide practical support—because those who care for others deserve to be cared for, too. Join us in making a difference.

Bright Bites – Making children smile across the UK

In partnership with Dentaid The Dental Charity, we're on a mission to reach 90,000 school-aged children through our fun and engaging oral health education programme - BrightBites.

In 2023, 15 million* school days were missed due to dental problems. We’re committed to changing this as a force for good.

As volunteers, our colleagues deliver in-person oral health education sessions, and every child leaves with a toothbrush, toothpaste and a smile on their face!
