In Facilities & Estates it’s not just about ensuring the taps run and the toilets flush (though that helps) this team look after all ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ facilities management as well as ensuring our Estates programmes are supporting our sustainability targets. This team provide us all with a collective home for today (when we’re not at our own homes) and a place for the future.

Our Finance stars not only know their way around a calculator but represent everything that is important in running Simplyhealth’s finances successfully; through supporting the efficient financial management and financial controls necessary to support all our business activities, to making investments and managing our money safely. There’s a wide selection of finance teams, including commercial finance, group tax, regulatory accounting, financial data analysis, business partnering, operations, shared services and underwriting & pricing. We look for all levels from experienced finance professionals to budding future finance experts looking for support with getting qualified which we can help supplement through our apprenticeship levy, these include nationally recognised courses in accountancy, taxation, finance and more.
Our legal team is like working for a wide spectrum law firm. We tend to go to externally for specialist support so this team have a broad range of experience in legal advice. Legal are integral to supporting 3rd party contracts as well as providing legal advice on employment queries, T&Cs and more. Remember, it’s never too late, to mediate!

Risk & Assurance exist to help manage and control risks which are critical to helping us achieve our business goals. We all make decisions, complete tasks, or decide not to do things to avoid or manage risk on a daily basis. Risk ownership includes anything from dealing with complaints (reputational risk), challenging the status quo for better customer outcomes (conduct risk) or going above and beyond to ensure change happens successfully (operational risk). The Risk & Assurance team help us manage and monitor these risks and also remind us that sometimes we need to take some risks otherwise we might stay in bed all day (tempting but not productive!)
This small but perfectly formed team are focused on driving our three strategic pillars to Survive, Drive and Thrive, as well as ensuring we make a big difference in society serving the health needs of our customers in the best possible way.
