About The Role

At Simplyhealth and Denplan, we're committed to improving access to healthcare and tackling health inequalities. Through our partnership with Dentaid, the BrightBites Programme is helping children across the UK develop positive oral health habits through education, prevention and access to essential resources. Since launching, the programme has reached more than 90,000 children, and with a further £1.2m investment, we have ambitious plans to reach 500,000 children by July 2028.

As our Charity Programme Co-ordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering this mission. Acting as the key link between Denplan, Simplyhealth and Dentaid, you'll coordinate a national programme that brings together schools, volunteers, dental practices and communities to create meaningful social impact.

This is a varied role that combines programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, communications, volunteer management and impact measurement. You'll be the internal and external face of BrightBites, helping to shape and execute programme plans while ensuring all stakeholders have an outstanding experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the delivery of the BrightBites Programme and supporting the achievement of annual programme targets.
  • Working with Simplyhealth's ESG team to develop and monitor a social impact framework, measuring the programme's reach and outcomes.
  • Using data and insight to identify priority communities and build programme delivery plans that maximise impact.
  • Recruiting and building relationships with schools, nurseries, community organisations and educational settings across the UK.
  • Developing volunteer recruitment and engagement activity, working closely with dental practices, corporate dental groups and ambassadors.
  • Coordinating programme operations, including DBS checks, volunteer support, training materials and resource distribution.
  • Supporting communications and marketing activity, including social content, case studies, media requests, events and promotional materials.
  • Gathering feedback, monitoring performance and continuously improving the programme experience for all stakeholders.
  • Creating reports and dashboards to demonstrate programme progress, impact and value.

About You

We're looking for an organised, energetic and purpose-driven individual who is passionate about making a difference. You'll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, building strong relationships and using data to inform decisions, while maintaining a focus on delivering excellent outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience coordinating projects, programmes, campaigns or similar activities.
  • Experience working within the dental sector or alongside dental practices and stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience creating content and supporting communications activity, including events, social media, promotional materials and storytelling.
  • A data-driven approach, with experience monitoring performance and using insights to influence decisions and improve outcomes
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, creative and self-motivated approach, with a genuine passion for social impact.
  • The ability to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS check.

It would be advantageous if you also have experience working with children or within educational settings, along with familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Most importantly, you'll be passionate about improving children's oral health and believe in the power of collaboration to create lasting social change.
