About The Role

Graduate Software Developer

 Contract – Permanent

Location – Hybrid with once-weekly travel to Andover Office (live within 30 miles)

Salary- £30,000

Hours – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

What You'll Be Learning

 Modern Test Automation & Engineering Tools

  • Gain practical experience with industry-leading automation frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Learn how automated testing integrates into CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery.
  • Develop your scripting and automation skills through real-world projects.
  • Use testing tools, logs, diagnostics, and data to investigate issues and support quality improvements.

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Design and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and automated tests.
  • Learn how to identify, log, and verify software defects.
  • Understand how quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Build confidence in assessing risk and ensuring products meet customer expectations.

Best Practice Engineering Principles

  • Develop your understanding of testing techniques such as risk-based testing and boundary value analysis.
  • Learn modern engineering approaches including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), and Shift-Left Testing.
  • Become a passionate advocate for quality, helping teams identify risks early and deliver better outcomes.

Collaboration & Agile Working

  • Partner with developers, product managers, and fellow engineers to understand requirements and solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute your ideas and insights.
  • Learn how high-performing technology teams collaborate to deliver value quickly and effectively.

About You

We're less interested in extensive experience and more interested in potential.

You could be the ideal candidate if you:

Have recently graduated or are early in your technology career

Have some exposure to coding, software testing, automation tools, or technical problem-solving

Are naturally curious and enjoy learning new technologies

Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work

Your Recruitment Journey
