As HR Operations Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our Leadership and Management teams and will play a pivotal role in implementing the people strategy. Your focus? Coaching our leaders to drive performance though the engagement and wellbeing of their people, maximising potential, optimising structures and supporting on all aspects of the colleague journey ensuring a thriving work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Business Partnering: You’ll be the go-to trusted advisor for our People leaders, delivering creative and strategic HR solutions that drive performance and engagement, through the delivery of their People Plans.
  • Driving People Performance: From coaching managers to enhancing team capability, you’ll work with managers to ensure their teams are set up for success.
  • Provide expert guidance, ensuring a balanced approach that considers both commercial needs and employee wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address capability gaps, supporting both immediate business goals and long-term strategic objectives to foster high-performing teams.
  • Continuously review and enhance HR processes, ensuring they are efficient, value-adding, and aligned with best practice.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to identify workforce trends, inform decision-making, and drive targeted actions in line with the people strategy.
  • Support and coach line managers in all aspects of people management, including performance development and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with business leaders and the Reward team to facilitate the annual pay review and bonus process.
  • Work closely with our employee relations team to support cases as required ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Provide ad hoc support to managers, addressing workforce issues that impact employee experience and business performance.
 
 
 

About You

To be considered you must have:

  • Significant experience in an HR generalist role, with up-to-date knowledge of employment law, experience handling complex, and sensitive situations, and experience managing the entire remit of HR activities.
  • Experience of business transformation including change management and reorganisation.
  • A confident coaching and mentoring style, adept at upskilling managers in people leadership.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to influence through your communication, capable of building strong relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organisation
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, able to roll your sleeves up and support the wider People function where needed.

We have a head office in Hampshire but, you’ll be able to enjoy our ‘smart working’ approach. This means you can flex when and where you spend your time but should expect to be in the office on average 1-2 days per week.  Much of the work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more.
