About The Role

You will develop mobile applications that will help our large customer base to better manage their health. For example, some of our existing applications provide physical and mental health assistance through daily tracking, enable health plan management and claim submissions and deliver 24/7 GP access via video calls.

These apps are just the beginning and we will be continuing to reach out and connect with our customers via their mobile devices to help them improve their health.

Please note this role will be home based until further notice; there may be a requirement to attend meetings at our Hampshire head office in line with government guidelines.

About You

We're looking for someone with solid experience in mobile development - React Native development experience would be ideal but this is not essential.

You must have experience of developing for mobile applications that target both iOS and Android devices and you should also have a good knowledge of the following:

- An understanding of UI design and good UX (this will be supported by our dedicated UI/UX professionals)
- Experience of using JavaScript test frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine or Mocha
- Experience of deploying apps and managing them within the app-stores
- Understanding of the core clean code principles such as SOLID and DRY and the reasons for their importance
- An appreciation for the importance of security and an understanding common threat mitigations

In Return 

As well as a competitive basic salary you’ll receive:

  • 36 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays) with an option to buy or sell a further 5 days
  • Group annual bonus (discretionary) up to 7.5% of annual salary
  • A pension scheme with 6% from us, a minimum 3% from you with the option to increase or decrease when you join. If you decide to contribute 4% or above we will add a further 4% which can be allocated in different ways
  • A yearly company funded allowance of £500 that you can choose to use against some great benefits such as shopping vouchers, pet insurance, dental plans and more
