About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reward & Systems Manager to join our People team at Simplyhealth. You’ll support the development and delivery of our reward strategy, focusing on the attraction and retention of colleagues to support a high performance culture.

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Reward and Systems including; role benchmarking and job evaluation, the pay and bonus cycle, equal pay and gender pay, HR reporting, supporting the Chief People Officer with Executive Team remuneration and looking at our various HR systems (Self Service, Tableau, Reward Gateway) to maximise our use of them and the outputs we produce to inform our decisions.  This role is also responsible for ensuring our policies, controls and reporting are compliant with SMCR guidelines.

This is a full time role, currently based from home, with a view to be able to commute to our offices in Hampshire as we plan our return to work from lockdown.

About You

You’ll need to have experience of delivering end-to-end reward projects including pay review and bonus modelling and salary survey benchmarking and analysis. You’ll be comfortable managing and supporting the development of reward offerings, managing key relationships with core providers and ensuring good value is maintained. You’ll need experience of being able to plan, prioritise and deliver across multiple activities with technical capability of managing HR systems.

You’ll be proactive in driving forward key reward activity, engaging with key stakeholders and presenting ideas in a clear, concise and compelling manner at a senior level. You’ll show strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to manage and analyse data to make key insights.

You will need to be a strong leader, leading by example, seeing opportunities, and, inspiring and engaging others. You’ll be comfortable presenting and being challenged and have sufficient experience to explain the complexities of any challenges that may be raised.

In Return

You’ll receive up to a competitive basic salary plus:

  • 36 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays) with an option to buy or sell a further 5 days
  • Group annual bonus (discretionary) up to 7.5% of annual salary
  • A pension scheme with 6% from us, a minimum 3% from you with the option to increase or decrease when you join. If you decide to contribute 4% or above we will add a further 4% which can be allocated in different ways
  • A yearly company funded allowance of £500 that you can choose to use against some great benefits such as shopping vouchers, pet insurance, dental plans and more
