About The Role

We’re on the hunt for an Application Support Engineer to  deliver top quality user support across multiple systems really acting as the interface between the technology and our employees.

 

What you’ll do;

  • Provide 2nd line support to the wider business providing operational and technical support across Simplyhealth’s major business applications and services.
  • Preform incident triage and impact analysis.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across a variety of systems.
  • Root cause analysis of all reported issues.
  • Using the tools and processes we have in place to monitor systems and services to identify issues proactively.
  • Preform data fixes/ configuration changes.

About You

  • Previous experience of dealing with IT incidents and monitoring of IT Systems and services
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL
  • Good SQL skills
  • Experience of supporting both Cloud and On Premise applications/services
  • Experience of using tools such as Kibana (ELK Suite), JIRA/Confluence
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
