About The Role

At Simplyhealth, it’s our service that makes us special and as a Strategic Client Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in making sure that our service shines and our clients love working with us.

Taking care of relationships with a portfolio of 10 Strategic clients, you’ll work closely with HR Professionals and Employee Benefit Consultants, to deliver a premium service to clients, maintain profitability and retention targets and support new growth opportunities. You’ll act as a conduit between your clients and internal business functions, taking ownership of any incoming work. You’ll meet with your clients regularly to preserve and develop relationships and occasionally attend networking events to promote Simplyhealth.

We’ll look to you to build loyalty and drive business growth by championing Simplyhealth and our products and services. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and, understanding our clients’ key influencers and health and wellbeing objectives inside-out, you’ll help our clients implement solutions to engage their employees and drive positive health outcomes. Proactive and passionate, you’ll take ownership in this important role and be brilliant at finding ways that we can work smarter and strives to do things differently.

Please note this role will be predominantly homebased in line with our new ‘smart working’ approach; there may be a requirement to attend regular meetings at our Hampshire head office in line with government guidelines and undertake travel related to the role.

About You
Establishing and building brilliant relationships will be second nature to you. Confident and outgoing, you will have previous experience in Account Management and ideally the Health and Benefits marketplace. Your exceptional people skills will mean you’re great at building fantastic client rapport, both over the telephone, email and face to face. Your keen eye for detail will help you to identify new opportunities and a driven, can-do attitude will make a real impact in building brand loyalty when it comes to promoting and up selling our products. With a keen interest in delivering commercial results, you’ll be able to articulate Management Information and negotiate high value contracts with senior stakeholders.

Brilliantly organised, you will be comfortable in an office environment with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent time management skills. And when it comes to multitasking and problem solving, you’re a natural, helping you overcome any challenge the day throws at you to hit deadlines, meet client expectations, and contribute to the passionate team here at Simplyhealth.

In Return

As well as a competitive basic salary you’ll receive:

  • 36 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays) with an option to buy or sell a further 5 days
  • Group annual bonus (discretionary) up to 6.5% of annual salary
  • A pension scheme with 6% from us, a minimum 3% from you with the option to increase or decrease when you join. If you decide to contribute 4% or above we will add a further 4% which can be allocated in different ways
  • A yearly allowance of £500 that you can choose to use against some great benefits such as shopping vouchers and health & fitness equipment
