About The Role

At Simplyhealth, we’ve created 2 new roles as Software Developers to join our Java team, reporting into our Software Team Leader and playing a key role in the build and management of Simplyhealth’s new strategic platform.

We’ll look to you to be an advocate for agile development frameworks and to work in collaboration with our Technical Architect, other developers and the rest of IT to ensure quality solutions are always produced and development policies and standards adhered to at all times.

Please note this role will be home based in line with our new ‘smart working’ approach; there may be a requirement to attend regular meetings at our Hampshire head office in line with government guidelines and undertake travel related to the role.
About You

You'll need demonstrable experience in the end-to-end development of high-quality software applications and competent in delivering software solutions using the following technology stack:  Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, PL/SQL

As an enthusing change agent, communication and pragmatic commercial thinking will be a key strength of yours, with the ability to build long lasting and impactful relationships.

In Return

As a PAYE colleague you’ll receive a competitive basic salary plus:

  • 36 days holiday (pro rata including 8 bank holidays)
  • Group annual bonus (discretionary) up to 7.5% of annual salary
