About The Role

We’re about to embark on an exciting new venture at Simplyhealth as we look to invest further into health technology companies. As Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst you’ll support  the Director of Corporate Finance providing expert valuation, financial and tax due diligence to support the strategic vision for the Group, with clear alignment to our core purpose; to improve access to healthcare, for the many, for the long term.

You’ll split your time into researching target investments, evaluating those businesses, conducting and co-ordinating due diligence (commercial, financial, tax, legal), producing investment appraisals to support investment, and helping track our growing investment portfolio.

Please note this role will be home based in line with our new ‘smart working’ approach; there may be a requirement to attend regular meetings at our Hampshire head office in line with government guidelines and undertake travel related to the role.

About You

You must be an excellent communicator at all levels, able to tell a story taking complex financial information and presenting in an easy to digest format. You’ll be capable of conducting due diligence on a company and monitoring investments autonomously.

To be successful you’ll also need to be comfortable challenging where appropriate, working with a certain level of ambiguity as well as having the ability to recover from setbacks quickly.

This could be ideal for someone who is recently qualified with experience working in the corporate finance function of an accountancy practice.
